Nishant Bhat was born on 8th April 1995 in a Hindu family in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has an elder brother Amit Bhat, He completed his college studies along with his studies from Mumbai. As a student, Nishant was always keen to participate in school events and this is where his interest in dance grew.
Nishant made his TV debut as a choreographer and appeared in many other dance reality shows including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (3 times). Nishant bhat started his career as a dancer in 2013 by working as a choreographer in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3. He choreographed popular actress Shilpa Shukla. Thereafter, he appeared in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, where he worked as a choreographer for popular Indian television actress Ankita Lokhande. In 2012, she assisted Jia Manek of the TV serial Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame. Thereafter, he appeared in dance reality shows like Super Dancer: Chapter 1 as a choreographer for contestant Varsha.
Nishant bhat then worked as a choreographer for a contestant named Aarushi Saxena in Super Dancer 2 in 2017. In 2018, he emerged as the winner of Super Dancer 3 along with Rupsa Batabyal, a contestant from Kolkata. Nishant Bhat has choreographed several seasons of the dancing reality shows, Super Dancer and Nach Baliye.
